The Hurricanes                                                              

The Hurricane Cub Pack is for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 10 1/2. 

We meet on Fridays between 6pm and 7.30pm.

We try to include a variety of different activities in our weekly meetings, which could involve learning new skills, crafts, role play, sport and many others. Of course, there is normally time for a game or two as well! Guests from different walks of life will be invited to visit us, to inspire our youngsters in different pursuits and interests, and from time to time we will venture out into the wild blue yonder for the same reason.

All of the above is aimed at helping the Cubs achieve their Challenge badges over their time in the Pack, as well as activity badges when appropriate. We hope they will find their time with us informative as well as fun! 

St George's Service - All Saints' Church, Hempstead, Sunday May 22nd 2018. 

Well done and thank you to all who attended the Service today, both youngsters and supporting adults. All of you youngsters behaved impeccably, being a credit to the Group and to your community (your grown-ups weren't too bad, either). The Colour Party members all did a wonderful, mature and professional job in carrying out their duties, especially carrying heavy flags along a windy Hempstead Road - not an easy feat!
